Shipping & Returns

 

Be sure to inspect your package upon arrival. We will be glad to refund or replace damaged items within 2 days of delivery. If there is a problem with your order please contact us immediately at (631) 249-3456.

Problems with shipping should be addressed to UPS and not to Hahn’s Old Fashioned Cake Co.
Shipping problems include tampered packages (by humans, animals, or insects), damaged packaging, or lost shipments.

We suggest that recipients leave a note on their door as to exactly where to leave a package if they are expecting a shipment. We suggest a secure place, off of the floor, safe from animals, insects, and direct sunlight.

Refunds or replacement are only given for problems caused by Hahn’s Old Fashioned Cake Co. (quality control, incorrect order, etc.), and not for shipping related problems.

All packages shipped UPS are designated with a “shippers release” so that a signature is not required for delivery. However, it is up to the discretion of the UPS delivery person whether to leave the package or not. Thus, we highly recommend that someone be available to accept the shipment, particularly if the shipping location is an apartment complex or office building.

We cannot be held responsible for packages left at an address when someone is out-of-town. Please make sure the recipient will be home before submitting an order.
